Project Description

Proposed Project represents the second phase of a three-phased development plan for the Willets Point Special District, to facilitate the development of approximately 17 acres of the 61-acre Special Willets Point District (SWPD). The Project includes approximately 2,098,000 gsf, including 1,300,000 gsf of residential development (approximately 1,400 units), all of which will be affordable; a 250-room, 215,000 gsf hotel; and a 500,000 gsf stadium (w/capacity for 25,000 seats). Phase 2 would also include approximately 2.77 acres of publicly-accessible open space. The Phase 2 development is assumed to start construction in 2024 and be completed and operational by 2027.
